Our Rooms

"They think they are playing. You know they are learning"

An extensive range of rooms

The Toy Box - The youngest children are in this room. As soon as we feel confident, usually once they start walking, we will move them up to our toddler room.  We will have no more than 9 or 12 children in here to keep it nice and personal and ensure your little ones get lots of time and attention.

The Sky Room- This is one of our larger rooms to ensure that the toddlers have plenty of space to explore and develop their physical play. We provide them with table-top activities  to develop their concentration skills. This room has it's own sleeping and dining area, as well as it's own garden.  We will focus on the 3 prime areas in these 2 rooms (communication & language, physical and personal social and emotional).

The Farm is for our 2 year olds who will all be 3 years by 31st August. Now that our toddlers are sleeping less and are fully mobile we can plan learning around their interests and also enhance their play so it is purposeful. We can also focus on their speech and language and holding and expanding their concentration levels.

The Street is for our 3&4 year olds who will be starting school the following September.  This will be their last year with us so we aim to ensure they are more confident and independent and ready for Reception Class. It has its own outdoor classroom to ensure children have a range of resources and activities to develop their literacy, mathematics, expressive art and design work.

The Zoo, The Station and our Pre-School room The Circus
These 3 rooms are for our 2,3&4 year old funded children so are only open term time.
Your child may never have attended nursery before so 3 hours a day is ample time to get them used to being away from you and prepare them for their journey to school.  The emphasis is still on learning through play. We work to develop their independence, confidence, communication, language, knowledge and their understanding of the world.
