Children love to play outdoors in all weathers. This is very good for their physical development and also their understanding of the world. They learn about different seasons and how the leaves on the trees change colour and fall to the ground.
They also learn about different and appropriate clothing for the changing temperatures - Of course nowadays we can have a variety of seasons in one week!
The Wonder Years garden is split into different areas to keep them busy and ensure they continue to learn through their play - developing new skills all the time as they run, ride, climb, build dens and play games with the staff and their friends. This also develops their social skills as well as their communication and language.

One of the largest nursery gardens

We are very proud we have one of the largest private nursery gardens in Coventry. Along with 2 lawn areas, children have access to a large tarmac area which is divided from the lawns by a large slabbed sloped area. There is also a large canopy for their building play and construction of dens. We also have a separate planting area where they can learn about planting and minibeasts and have investigative play.

Outdoor classroom to enjoy

In addition to all this, we have a large outdoor classroom They can continue with their role play or play with the sand and water.
We also take the children to the local park or the the shops. There is always something to see on the very diverse Foleshill Rd. With so many multicultural shops and people - your children are learning all the time
